I am 31 and a wife and mother. My full-time job is caring for my husband, my home, and training up the two children God has blessed me with. Seventeen months apart, Noah and Jordan certainly keep me busy and between my duties and their schedules I am busy at home - thankful each minute of each day that I can be with them.
This blog was originally started as a way for us to get updates and information out regarding our unborn daughter whose future was quite uncertain. As she was born with facial and limb differences it's been a great tool to update family and friends but has also become a place I can write about my musings and revelations. Our life is not without trial but I consider us truly blessed by our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
If you'd like to start at the beginning you can scroll through the Archive section of the blog and catch up.
Enjoy!
Smile Pinki won an Oscar tonight for Best Short Documentary!!
This is so exciting and makes me hope that Smile Train will get more publicity and therefore more money which means more surgeries for these kids who need them.
Thanks for watching!

Hi Jen, I'm so thrilled Smile Pinki won an Oscar. We haven't seen the Oscars but have it recorded. I imagine the movie is very powerful, just the trailer made me cry. Carrie
